Who handles your information
I’m Jan Haas, the independent consultant behind HaasMindset, based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. I am responsible for the personal information you provide through this website and in related inquiry correspondence. For privacy questions or requests, write to jan@haasmindset.com.
What I collect and why
The contact form asks for your name, company, work email, and a description of your workflow. I use this information to read and respond to your inquiry, understand the help you are seeking, discuss a possible engagement, and keep track of that conversation. The form does not sign you up for a newsletter or a marketing mailing list.
Please share only a general description. Do not send passwords, financial account details, health information, identity documents, or confidential client or employee records through this form.
Website and correspondence providers
Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores contact-form submissions on my behalf. I also use email services to correspond with you, so your inquiry may exist in both the form system and email. These providers may process information outside Mexico under their service arrangements. I do not sell your contact details. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.
Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect their services. Their infrastructure and retention practices are governed by their own terms and applicable obligations. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
How long inquiry records are kept
My retention policy is to delete inactive inquiries 90 days after the last contact, including copies I control in the form system, email, and any exports. I carry out this cleanup manually; it is not an automatic deletion feature. Records needed for an active engagement or a specific legal obligation are retained for that purpose and reviewed when it ends.
Your privacy choices and rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction, cancellation, or objection to its processing (ARCO rights). You may also request to revoke consent where applicable or limit the use or disclosure of your information. Email jan@haasmindset.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, describe your request, and include enough context to locate your inquiry and an email address for my reply.
I may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or authority before acting. Please do not send identity documents unless we have agreed on an appropriate way to verify the request. I will explain the process and any applicable legal requirements or limits. Some records may need to be retained where a legal obligation or another applicable exception prevents deletion.
For an ARCO request, the ordinary legal period to communicate my determination is 20 business days from receipt. If the request is approved, it is ordinarily implemented within the following 15 business days. A legally justified extension may apply under the applicable rules.
Cookies and other website technologies
I have not added advertising pixels, analytics scripts, social-media embeds, or optional tracking cookies to this website. Fonts and the portrait are served from this website’s own domain. Ordinary links to social profiles open those services only when you follow the link; those services then apply their own privacy practices. Hosting and security services may use technical information needed to deliver and protect the site.
If I introduce optional analytics, embedded services, or other tracking, I will review the disclosure and any required consent choices before enabling them.

The date above identifies the current version. I will publish changes on this page. If you need information about how a specific inquiry is handled, contact me before sharing additional personal information. Any later client engagement may require separate terms and data-handling arrangements.
